  • Shame on you for making many of these visits cost money! You can see the Grand Canyon for free from many of the stopping points along the road. The Washington Mall (and adjoining memorials and museums) are FREE. The Freedom Trail in Boston is FREE!

  • I recently attended a wedding where the favor was a small bottle of canadian maple syrup in an etched maple leaf shaped bottle. The bride is from Canada and one of her guests made up the bottles (and the syrup) so it gave a personal touch to the wedding.

  • I have an Archos 9 tablet running Windows 7 Home Premium. It does just fine, including the handwriting recognition. It's not multitouch, but it's exactly what I need in a meeting for taking notes and/or doing internet research. It's also a great conversation piece!
